2. Use of cookies
The data controller uses so-called cookies when you visit this website. A cookie is a small data file (letters and numbers) that the site sends to your browser to store certain settings, make the site easier to use, and help collect relevant statistical information about visitors.
Some cookies do not contain personal information and cannot identify individual users; others contain a unique identifier (a secret, randomly generated string) stored on your device, which may allow your identification. The lifetime of each cookie is described in our Cookie Policy.
Legal basis: For strictly necessary cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For statistical and marketing cookies, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
For details on the cookies we use (including strictly necessary cookies, session cookies, Google Analytics, and any marketing cookies), how to manage them, and links to browser settings, please see our Cookie Policy.

This website does not offer online ordering, registration, or online payment. The following data processing may take place.

Purpose: To respond to your enquiries sent via the contact form.
Data processed: Name, email address, company (optional), and the content of your message.

Legal basis: Your voluntary consent given by submitting the contact form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
3.2 Optional marketing communications
If you have given separate consent to receive product updates or news from Emermedia (e.g. via a checkbox on the contact form), I process your name and email address for sending such communications. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure that processors (e.g. Vercel, Resend) also apply appropriate data security measures when processing your personal data. Communication via the contact form is transmitted over a secure connection (TLS).
7. Amendments to this policy
The data controller reserves the right to amend this privacy policy in a manner that does not affect the purpose or legal basis of the processing. Use of the website after the amendment takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If the data collected is to be used for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was collected, you will be informed in advance of that purpose and of the information referred to in Art. 13(2) GDPR (including retention period, your rights, right to complain), and where the legal basis is consent, the new processing will only be carried out after you have given your consent.
